2012 transitions at Trade Winds Dental

added on: January 5, 2012

We are so happy to introduce Shermance Morris as our new dental hygienist at Trade Winds Dental. Shermance is an enthusiastic, positive, energetic person who loves spending time with her patients to help them achieve their best in oral health. She came to our practice looking forward to working in a close-knit team environment where she is able to get to know each of her patients on a personal level. We think that’s a great match for our Trade Winds Dental family!

Shermance is an excellent hygienist that is well-trained in the latest technologies and treatments that insure maximum comfort and health. She is involved in many dental hygiene organizations and counts continuing education as one of her top priorities to provide the very best care for her patients. She has a special interest and a strong background in preventive services that can greatly reduce the need for future treatment, as well as, contribute to more complete and total wellness. This is a second career for Shermance, whose background is in sales and management with over 10 years at Dell Computers.

Shermance is married with two fantastic sons, ages 10 and 8. Her family recently bought a new home here in Georgetown and she is excited to soon have extended family nearby when her parents move to the Sun City area as well. Shermance is active in her church, community, and Cub Scouts. In her “spare time” she even achieved the rank of First Degree Black Belt, along with her children, in the American Tae Kwon Do Association.

Shermance shared with us that goals, honor, integrity, and perseverance are her life-long aspirations. We are happy that she will share her time with us while pursuing her passions in each of these areas. I look forward to each one of you having the opportunity to get to know her better!

We also wish the best for our dental hygienist Laura, as she embarks on her next adventure:

TO MY FAMILY AT TRADE WINDS DENTAL.

First of all, let me thank you for the time you have allowed me to be a part of your dental care team. I have enjoyed every day here. I thank you for the warm welcome, the great conversations, laughter and the opportunity to have shared in all of your great family and life stories. This has been a truly wonderful place to work and play.

Unfortunately, my family duties call and so it is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I leave here. I know you will be well cared for because this team is truly platinum. I will miss all of you and promise to keep you updated on facebook.

With warm wishes,
Laura Anne Ruiz, RDH
